Tej style honey wine is indigenous to the area surrounding Ethiopia with roots going back as far as 3,000 years.

Gesho bark imparts sweet earthy aromas and flavors of leather, mushrooms, roasted chestnuts, apples, and figs. It has a dry yet fruity medium body, with a lightly sweet finish that is the perfect compliment to all of your favorite spicy foods.
